To all our valued Clients your safety is our number one priority. we care about your safety! Yes there is some concern in the market place on some alleged defective Tire Valve Stems, we would like to explain what the problem is and how we would like to address it for everyone.

First we believe it is important to note that Community Tire's primary supplier of valve stems has been contacted and we have been assured the Schrader valve stem is not involved in any governmental or voluntary recall. This is good news however it does not release us from the responsibility to inspect to be sure you are not the recipient of this product.

It is our understanding some tire valve stems manufactured in a five month period from July 2006 thru November 2006 are subject to cracking when exposed to ozone. If you had tires installed or a tire repair between August 1 st. 2006 and July 31 st 2007 it is recommended you return to the dealer that installed your tires and have them replace the stems. If we were the installing dealer we would like to replace your stems free of charge to provide you piece of mind on the road.

In addition even if you did not purchase tires during this time period, Please stop by any of our locations and we will do an inflation check and inspect your stems for any premature cracking. If we see any evidence or if you are just concerned we will be glad to replace the valve stems at no charge. If you have any issue with going back to the installing dealer please feel free to call on us and we will be glad to take care of your vehicle.
